Topic: DCB studies result in long lesion, CLI and BTK

Antirestenotic therapy has become a main pillar in the endovascular treatment of peripheral arterial disease of the lower extremity. Especially in the treatment algorithm of femoral and popliteal disease the drug coated balloon (DCB) with paclitaxel coating has become the backbone in a variety of clinical scenarios.
In this talk the rationale and data for the treatment of vascular lesions with DCB will be discussed with the focus on different subcohorts like long fem-pop lesions, BTK lesions or patients with CLI. Data will be presented from different subgroup analysis of the large BIOLUX P3 study.
