Topic: Adoption of modern information technology and improvement of dialysis access care in my practice

The application of information technology ( IT) has progressed rapidly in recent decades. The fast-changing technology involving the development, maintenance, and use of computer systems, software, and networks for the processing and distribution of data has been reshaping almost every aspect of our everyday lives. Modern healthcare providers have taken advantage of the progression of IT and applied it both in the process of clinical care as well as healthcare research and development. To improve the efficiency of our care for dialysis access patients, we created the TIE app, a social media application that serves as a nonstop communication channel between patients and healthcare providers (Access intervention teams) 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With that coming, the relationship with all patients has improved. In addition to the application of software to enhance access care, we had planned to launch hardware to aid the care of dialysis access. The VA access device will be manufactured as a dialysis access hemostasis device with access monitoring ability, which, in our opinion, will improve the quantity of access care. Improvement of the quality of care for dialysis patients is a never-ending task for access physicians.
