Topic: Understanding the impact of carotid intervention on cognitive function

Abstract

The object of the talk is to highlight the cognitive impact of carotid disease and the effects of carotid intervention on cognition in patients who underwent carotid revascularization procedures. Information from Literature and clinical trial will be reviewed. The result from my NIH-sponsored prospective clinical trial will be discussed

Topic: Management of Type II endoleak

Abstract

The talk will focus on type II endoleak, the Achille’s heel of endovascular aneurysm repair, the incidence and treatment options. I will review the available information from clinical trials and pertinent studies. I will also discuss personnel experience, focusing on the concept of nidus in type II endoleak
