Please wear closed-toe shoes in the simulation center. (Slippers are not allowed)
Please bring your personal surgical instruments, such as surgical loupes, etc.

Participants: 3-4 physician trainees, 1 nurse, and 1 table instructor for each cadaver (8 cadavers in total). A total of 24-32 physician trainees, 8 nurses, and 8 instructors

Pre-Congress workshop

Introduction

Asian Society for Vascular Surgery always dedicated significant efforts on educational activities. This time in the annual congress of ASVS2022, the organizing committee had again designed a series of pre-congress activities with high educational significance. Within the half-day course, the tentative pitch-out points had covered important clinical fields in a vascular surgeon daily practice such as peripheral arteries, veins and aorta. The invited tutors will not only elucidate the basic and practical concepts on each topic, but also will bring along with a lot cutting edge knowledges and technologies. The participants will be enrolled into the course and rotate through different hands-on stations to enjoy the lectures, discussions and hands-on practice under the tutelage of our distinguished faculties.

State-of-the-art devices for peripheral vascular intervention supported by B.D.
Non-thermal Non-Tumescent therapy for varicose vein treatment supported by Medtronic
ClariVein mechanochemical ablation for varicose vein supported by Merit

Who should attend?

Residents/fellows who are under training for vascular surgery and looking forward to practicing clinically in the near future.
Surgeons who want to refine and update their treatment strategies and enhance therapeutic advances in vascular field.
Professionals supporting vascular intervention treatment who want to know more first-hand information on the devices and have a real hands-on experience of the various cutting-edge technologies.
